We were truly humbled by the success of our charity tours where we raised over $22,000 for Animal Rehab Central and the Clyde Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Please note that, unless otherwise stated, our tours moving forward are not charity fundraising events.
Castle Tours
This is an opportunity to explore the stunning Earnscleugh Castle, following on from its renovation project that has been filmed for Grand Designs and will air on April 12 2026.
We’ll share the highs and lows of our 4-year renovation journey – from sourcing recycled Rimu timber from Christchurch earthquake buildings to the decisions behind blending antique French beds, vibrant heritage colours and modern artworks from our personal collection.
Along the way, discover the castle’s rich history, from the gold-rush era pioneers like Stephen Spain and Alfred Strode to the challenges of rabbit plagues and family feuds that shaped this Jacobethan manor into the timeless property it is today.
The next tours will be on Mon 27 April and various times during the week.

Private Tours
If the dates available on our Group Tours page are not suitable, or you prefer a private tour for your group, these can be booked on request.
The same charges apply – $50 per person but we require a minimum spend of $350.
