Castle tours are free when staying at The Coach House and The Castle Suites and Rooms.
Our favourite restaurant in all of New Zealand (genuinely!) is just across the road – The Packing Shed. Why not make a perfect day of it and combine your tour with lunch at this exceptional venue? Please note The Packing Shed is open for lunch Monday to Friday only. On weekends there are many excellent dining options in nearby Clyde and Alexandra (some of our favourites are listed here).
For something more special, we are happy to create a tailored experience for your group – whether it’s a high tea on the lawn, a private wine tasting in the castle, or any other bespoke request. We can provide a custom quote tailored to your needs.
